A Simple Reflective Practice for Identity and personal values

Simple practice for identity and personal values: practical questions, art-based reflection, and Enzology meditation and hypnosis session options.

Identity-focused work explores the stories and expectations that influence current choices. The purpose is to make room for reflection, not to erase your past or require a dramatic transformation.

Try a short, manageable experiment

Choose a quiet moment and a comfortable setting. This is an optional reflection exercise, not a test or a substitute for individualized care. Keep it brief enough to repeat, and stop if the experience feels uncomfortable. There is no requirement to produce a particular feeling.

Name a value you want to express this week. Write one ordinary action that would put it into practice.

Before and after the exercise

Before beginning, notice where you are and whether you have enough privacy. Set a small intention and give yourself permission to finish early. Afterwards, return to the room and write one sentence about what you observed, without deciding that the practice must have changed something.

Compare an action with the value you chose. Make the next step more specific if the connection feels unclear.

If attention wanders

Wandering attention is something to notice. You can return to the exercise, shorten it, or leave it for another day. Avoid turning a brief experiment into another obligation. A guided session can help you discuss what made the practice comfortable or difficult.
